What Manual Audits does
WCAG checklist
Every success criterion for your A, AA or AAA target, each marked pass, fail, not applicable, not tested or needs review.
Structured findings
Severity, priority, steps to reproduce, expected behaviour, and the browser, device and assistive technology used.
Screenshot evidence
Annotated screenshots with alt text and captions, attached to the finding they prove.
Retests
A finding is resolved only after a passing retest, so the record shows how it was confirmed.
Import existing audits
Bring in audits from CSV, Excel, Word or PDF, reviewed by a person before anything is saved.
How it works
Step 1: Set up the audit
Choose the Application or URL, the WCAG target and what's in scope.
Step 2: Test and record
Work through the checklist and log findings with evidence as you go.
Step 3: Retest and report
Confirm fixes with retests, then export an accessible HTML report, a CSV, or VPAT suggestions.
What it does, and what it doesn’t
Accessibility evidence only helps when it’s honest about its limits.
- Does: Keeps imported results marked as imported, not verified by Pallyfi.
- Does: Suggests a conformance level per criterion for a VPAT, for a qualified reviewer to set.
- Doesn’t: Doesn’t produce a final or certified VPAT or ACR on its own.
- Doesn’t: Doesn’t let a clean automated scan mark a criterion as supported.
